DIRECTORS Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh are Academy Award nominated, Peabody Award winning Indian filmmakers. Their recent feature documentary 'Writing With Fire' was a double Sundance winner and India's first feature documentary to be nominated for an Oscar. They are co-founders of Black Ticket Films, an award-winning production company whose globally exhibited slate of films are being used as advocacy, impact and education tools by institutions across the world. Their earlier films include National-Award winning 'Timbaktu' (2012) and critically acclaimed 'Dilli' (2010). Rintu and Sushmit are members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. |
